The Production Process Of Hydraulic Fitting
Aug 30, 2024
Hydraulic fittings are an essential component of hydraulic systems used to connect hydraulic pipelines and other hydraulic components. The production process requires strict precision control and quality assurance. Here is a typical hydraulic fitting production process:
1. Material preparation
Material selection: Choose suitable materials, such as stainless steel, carbon steel, or brass, based on the working environment and performance requirements of the fitting. Quality inspection: Perform physical performance tests, such as hardness and strength, to ensure that the material meets the standards.
2. Parts Manufacturing
Forging or casting: According to the design drawings, the raw materials are formed by forging or casting. Mechanical processing: Using mechanical equipment such as lathes, milling machines, and drilling machines, the parts are precision processed, including turning, drilling, and tapping operations.
3. Surface Treatment
Deburring: The processed parts are deburred to ensure a smooth and flawless surface. Heat treatment: According to requirements, heat treatment processes such as annealing, quenching, and tempering are performed to improve the mechanical properties of the material. Coating: To improve the corrosion resistance or aesthetics of the joint, surface treatments such as galvanizing, nickel plating, and spraying can be performed.
4. Assembly
Assembling parts: Assemble the processed parts according to the design drawings, using threaded fasteners or other connection methods.
Seal ring installation: Install O-rings or other forms of seal rings in the required positions to ensure good sealing at the connection points.
5. Testing and inspection
Pressure testing: Conduct high-pressure testing on the joints to check their sealing performance under working pressure.
Leakage testing: Use tools such as helium mass spectrometers to conduct leakage testing on the joints, ensuring that there are no tiny leakage points.
Dimensional inspection: Use equipment such as Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to accurately measure the finished product dimensions, ensuring they comply with tolerance requirements.
6. Packaging and shipping
Clean packaging: Clean the joints to remove oil and impurities generated during the processing.
Anti-corrosion packaging: Use anti-rust oil application or vacuum packaging to prevent the joints from rusting during storage and transportation.
Labeling and boxing: Attach product labels to record model numbers, batch numbers, and other information and package and ship according to order requirements.
