In daily maintenance, various lubricating oils, especially gear oil, are widely used in cement equipment. We should also pay attention to several related aspects of the daily lubrication management and use of the reducer. Yes, lubricating oil is better for the reducer, and improving work efficiency can also prolong the service life of the reducer.
1. For the reducer system that uses a pump for circulating lubrication, pay attention to the pressure difference of the pump and clean the filter screen in time. If the pressure difference of the crane pump is large in a short period of time, or if the time to clean the filter screen increases significantly, and the oil sludge and metal wear on the filter screen increase significantly, it means that the use of the lubricating oil is not very good. In addition to the problems of materials and design, it can be said that the choice of lubricating oil is not reasonable enough: one is that the viscosity is not suitable enough, and the other is that heavy loads can be used instead of medium loads; that is, the effect of choosing a higher-grade gear oil will be significantly better.
2. It is necessary to avoid mixing new oil with old oil (instead of replenishing oil as required) or adding high-viscosity oil to achieve a certain viscosity due to viscosity drop. In doing so, there may be some short-term effects, but the performance of the oil will be significantly reduced, and at the same time, the lubrication conditions of the crane equipment will deteriorate, resulting in increased wear and shortening the service life of the equipment in a certain sense. In addition, it may be because the main ingredients are different that the additives "fight" when mixed. The effects of the additives should be offset by each other. The consequences for the equipment are disastrous.
3. Regarding the oil change cycle of the crane, theoretically speaking, the oil change period is short, which can better reduce friction and secondary wear, prolong the service life of the equipment, and at the same time provide a necessary condition for ensuring its normal operation. However, from the perspective of economic benefits, oil products should be used more accurately and effectively. Whether to change the oil and when to change the oil, in addition to following the oil change period regulations It should also be considered based on factors such as the operating time and operating rate of the equipment so that the oil can be used to the maximum extent.
