Pure Copper Hydraulic Joint Pipe Cleaning Method
Mar 21, 2023
In order to ensure the cleanliness of the lubrication system and supply the bearings of the mechanical equipment with clean grease, the Pure Copper Hydraulic Joint must be removed after pre-installation for cleaning. There are two kinds of cleaning: kerosene cleaning and acid cleaning.
1. Kerosene cleaning objects and methods
(1) copper pipe, stainless steel pipe;
(2) Steel pipes that have been pickled before pre-installation and have no corrosion or iron oxide on the inner wall;
(3) dirty pipe joints during preassembly;
(4) Remove the pipe and joint that need to be cleaned, clean the pipe with cloth (or wool yarn) dipped in kerosene, clean the two ends and joint soaked in kerosene, and then coat the pipe with oil or fill with grease, and close the two ends to be installed;
(5) After cleaning, there should be no visible pollutants (such as iron filings, fibrous impurities, welding slag, etc.), pay special attention to the welding of the inner wall of the welding slag must be thoroughly cleaned.
2. Pickling objects
(1) Pure Copper Hydraulic Joint that has not been pickled before preinstallation;
(2) seriously corroded steel pipes that have been pickled.
3. Pickling construction sequence and treatment purpose
(1) degreasing using degreasing agent, remove the adhesive grease on the pipe;
(2) Clean the dirt on the pipe with clean water;
(3) Rust removal in acid washing solution to remove rust spots on the pipe wall, rolled iron chips, etc.;
(4) washing and high pressure water washing the attachments produced in the above operations should be washed with clean water, and the inside of the pipe should be washed with high pressure water;
(5) The residual acid on the pipe is neutralized with lye;
(6) Drying In order to effectively dry the pipe should be immersed in hot water or steam drying, the pipe should be dried thoroughly;
(7) Rust prevention;
(8) Check whether the pipes after pickling are cleaned;
(9) Packaging and storage immediately after pickling with plastic or plastic tape to seal the opening part of the pipe, so as to avoid foreign body, water and other intrusion.
4. Precautions for pickling
(1) Welding of pipes has been completed before pickling;
(2) When disassembling, transporting and pickling, pay attention not to damage the pipeline, thread and sealing surface, and seal with adhesive tape or plastic pipe;
(3) Welding slag, splashes and varnish on pipes should be cleaned before pickling;
(4) The parts of each thread should be protected by plastic belt, rubber belt and other acid-resistant materials, or coated with dry oil at the thread after degreasing and washing to remove rust in acid solution to prevent acid erosion;
(5) When pickling, pay attention not to make the pipe match mark disappear or blur.
